The Centre for Sustainability PH, Inc. is a women-led, youth, environmental non-profit organisation based in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, the Philippines.
Our Mission is to CONSERVE LAND and protect the Philippines’ last remaining forests through legal establishment of protected areas.
We achieve this through frontline community organising with indigenous and local communities, leading scientific research with national and international scientists, and then with the support of local communities & the proof of science, conduct political lobbying directly to decision-makers.
At CS, our work comes FROM communities, is FOR communities, and goes TO communities.
We conserve terrestrial key biodiversity areas through community organising, scientific research, & political lobbying.
We regenerate forests through reforestation of native tree species in collaboration with indigenous & local communities.
We train & empower indigenous & local communities to conduct independent biodiversity research in the forests they live in and around.
We mentor & support youth across the Philippines to fundraise for and lead their own conservation projects in their own communities.
We do frontline community organising with indigenous and local communities.
We lead scientific research with national and international scientists.
With the support of communities, and the proof of science, we lobby directly to decision-makers.
We train youth in fundraising and project management, and support as their fiscal sponsor.
